When you’re in a hurry or not up to a large breakfast, this is a nutritious and delicious option. The banana and oats provide fibre for effective digestion. The seeds provide essential fats (for the brain and nervous system). The milk provides a host of vitamins and minerals along with protein, which helps slow the release of glucose into your bloodstream, the honey gives energy and cinnamon helps to stabilise blood sugar and calm mid-morning cravings.
The best way to grind the sunflower seeds is in a coffee grinder or food processor – then store in the fridge and use within a week.

Blend all the ingredients thoroughly and serve at once.
